Dylan Schmidt makes IHSA Football Statement

Dylan Schmidt is generally a quiet, energetic, and respectful athlete who has been training with DEA Nation since 7th grade. Dylan stepped into Huntley High School with a passion for football. His effort in training and football IQ helped him make the Sophomore team as a Freshman.

When Dylan competes, that quiet energy turns into focus and power.

In his debut game, Dylan played both sides of the line. He posted an offensive receiving touchdown and 50 yards. On defense, he had 13 (9 solo) tackles (3 solo for a loss), 1 sack, and forced 1 fumble recovered for a touchdown.

What may be most exciting is that Dylan knocked the quarterback to the ground 9 additional times. Each time, he helped the pancaked passer back to his feet. That respect for other players will set Dylan apart as an athlete now and a future leader later.

It's been exciting to see Dylan transfer his success in training to success on the field!
