Congratulations to DEA Nation athlete Jenna S. and her mother, Mary S. Jenna was nominated and then selected to participate in the School District 155 Consortium for Educational Change.
The purpose of the CEC is to combine the ideas of local stakeholders to create goals in line with the community needs.
What makes the program so exciting is the inclusion of diverse community minds:

Autumn Miller Chooses St. Ambrose Volleyball
Congratulations to Autumn Miller, who elected to join the St. Ambrose University Volleyball program. Autumn says that their deep roster and challenging coaching style make training away from home continue to be exciting. She remains supportive of her home town Jacobs High School and former teammates at school and at DEA, Kristen W. and Maddie B.

Softball, Class AA Finals, Here we come!
When DEA Nation athlete and Barrington pitcher (Allie) throws a no-hitter and only 5 balls the whole entire game, there is a good chance your team is going to win 15-0 in three innings. Woot-woot! @StationMS220 Fillies advance to the @IESA_IL Class AA Region 1 finals, Monday at Field of Dreams at 5 pm.


Max Raynor, Congratulations on being selected Team Captain by your peers
Max Raynor, Barrington football #4, put in the sweat and dealt with the frustration and the joy of accomplishing his goals in the off season. In addition to 10 lbs of added lean muscle, Max dropped from a 5.8 sec 40yd to 4.8 sec and he is using that speed on the field.
The Barrington football team has noticed and they tallied votes to elect Max as Senior and Varsity Team Captain.
Max boast a leaders' attitude, 4.3/4.0 GPA, and athleticism which he continues to improve

Prepping for Cross Country this season has been no joke. With a stacked group of Middle School and High School distance runners, it is exciting that several of the top runners in the state are expected come from our outstanding group of DEA Nation athletes.
