Basketball Week 5

The DEA Nation Organization would like to start by saying we hope all DEA Nation Mothers had a wonderful day yesterday! We appreciate your dedication and sacrifices that you make to allow your son or daughter to be apart of the DEA Nation program!

Highlights from the 5/13 Tournament

- 12 DEA Nation Teams competed this past weekend from Waukegan to Wisconsin( including 2 DEA Nation Girls Teams)

- 13U Black & 11U Black both brought home Championships!

- 15U Green Finished Runner Up in their Respective Division

Week 5 MVP'S

Luke Anamndu 11U Black - Luke was the best all around player for his team this weekend. He was unstoppable on offense, he also led his team in steals, assists and defensive stops! From the coaches," Luke is probably the most humble, and unselfish leader on the team, his teammates love playing with him because he works hard on both ends of the floor". Way to go Luke! Keep up the hard work!

Adrian Cantic 13U Black - Adrian was the 3 point specialist in leading his team to a tournament title. He knocked down 10 three pointers total in 3 games this past weekend, including four in one game! Adrian was also extremely vocal on the defensive end of the floor. He was definitely the driving force on both ends of the floor. Excellent job Adrian, keep working hard!

We are looking forward to practice this week and one more tournament to conclude our Spring Travel competition. Please keep an eye out for Summer Travel details that will be released later this week
